The FluentCart alternative that does not need a second product.
FluentCart and Ambikly are close cousins — self-hosted, free core, no fees, one Pro license. The gap is in the add-ons FluentCart hands to sibling products: abandoned-cart recovery through FluentCRM, affiliates through FluentAffiliate. Ambikly puts both, plus gift cards, vendors and RFM reports, inside Pro.
Why stores go looking for a FluentCart alternative.
Not opinions about their product — the published prices, fees and plan structure people run into.
Recovery and affiliates live elsewhere
FluentCart’s roadmap lists abandoned-cart recovery “from FluentCRM” — a separate product from $129/yr — and its features page lists a FluentAffiliate integration, another product from $199. That is a $527 first-year stack for one site.
Not advertised
Gift cards, multi-vendor, wishlists, rule-based dynamic pricing and RFM analysis do not appear on FluentCart’s features, free-vs-pro or roadmap pages.
A young product
FluentCart is new and moving fast; its lifetime price is presented as a limited-time deal “until the subscription pricing is announced”. That can be a bargain or a moving target.
The checklist, and how Ambikly answers it.
| An alternative should give you | Ambikly |
|---|---|
| Recovery and affiliates in the same license | Abandoned Cart Recovery and Affiliate System are two of the 35 add-ons. |
| Gift cards, vendors, wishlists, dynamic pricing, RFM | All Pro add-ons. |
| The same no-fee, self-hosted model | GPLv3, your database, no platform fee. |
| Automatic renewals and customer self-service | Stripe renewals, pause / resume / cancel from the account. |
| A stable lifetime price | Pro $549 once; Agency $1,349 once for 10 sites. |
Migrating from FluentCart, honestly.
Products move by CSV. Orders, customers and active subscriptions do not migrate automatically in the current release — plan a cutover rather than a flip.

If you used FluentCRM for recovery
If you used FluentCRM for recovery, enable Ambikly’s Abandoned Cart Recovery and CRM Sync instead.
Stay with FluentCart if
- You already run FluentCRM or FluentForms and value one vendor for everything.
- You need a 15- or 50-site license at FluentCart’s per-site price.
- A 60-day refund window matters more than the add-on set.
Move to Ambikly if
- Recovery and affiliates in the same license
- Gift cards, vendors, wishlists, dynamic pricing, RFM
- The same no-fee, self-hosted model
- Automatic renewals and customer self-service
- A stable lifetime price
Switching from FluentCart — questions.
How similar are FluentCart and Ambikly?
Very: both are self-hosted WordPress plugins with a free core, a Pro license, no fees, and physical, digital and subscription products together. The difference is what Pro includes.
Do I need FluentCRM with Ambikly?
No. Abandoned-cart recovery is an Ambikly add-on. If you keep a CRM, the CRM Sync add-on pushes customers, orders and leads to Mailchimp or HubSpot.
Which has the cheaper lifetime license?
FluentCart at $249 for one site, shown as a limited-time deal, versus Ambikly Pro at $549 — but FluentCart’s price excludes recovery and affiliates. Prices read September 16, 2026.

WooCommerce alternative
Subscriptions alone is $279/yr. Add Gift Cards ($79), AutomateWoo for abandoned carts ($159), Product Vendors ($119), One Page Checkout ($79), Bundles ($79) and Table Rate Shipping ($119) and a single store is at $913/yr before any third-party extension — each renewing separately, each with its own settings page.
Easy Digital Downloads alternative
EDD’s own documentation states that Lite and Personal stores pay a 3% application fee on Stripe transactions, removed only from the Extended pass ($199.50 intro, $399 renewal) upward.
SureCart alternative
Per SureCart’s own listing, the plugin connects your site to the SureCart cloud and needs a linked account to function. Your orders are processed there, not in your WordPress database.
